Origin and inspiration
The Rozio hat takes its name from the berets traditionally worn by horsemen at fairs and pilgrimages in southern Spain.
Mutur Beltz reinterprets this equestrian silhouette in a contemporary key: a beret that combines the elegance of the horse world with the strength of Basque wool, transforming it into a timeless, comfortable accessory with its own character.
Raw materials and tradition
Made from raw wool from Carranzana sheep, a native breed in danger of extinction in the Karrantza Valley (Bizkaia), the Rocío hat revives the memory of the classic jockey cap and updates it for the present day.
An accessory that combines cultural heritage, sustainability, and style with roots.
Main features
Very comfortable, with a perfect fit.
• Moldable blade that allows you to adjust the shape to your liking.
• Cotton lining, soft and hypoallergenic.
• Handcrafted in Portugal with high-quality finishes.
• Exterior made of Carranzana sheep wool: durable, warm, and breathable.
Commitment and sustainability
More than just an accessory, Rocío embodies equestrian elegance and rural roots.
Each piece contributes to the preservation of the Carranzana sheep, promotes sustainable grazing, and supports the revaluation of Basque wool as a raw material of the future.
Care and maintenance
To preserve its shape and quality, we recommend cleaning the hat with a soft cloth dampened with water and a little soap, or with baby wipes.
