Julia is a crochet doll made in one piece with Mutur Beltz karrantzana wool in collaboration with @pica.uva. Her name evokes the serene strength and natural beauty of what is close to us, connecting childhood, memory, and territory.
Each stitch Julia makes is a nod to the traditions that sustain us: raisin production in Malaga’s Axarquía region and extensive grazing in the Karrantza valley. An encounter between cultures that converse in the same fabric.

Colors: natural, obtained from the fleece of our sheep and from Tinkatoki vegetable dyes.

A doll with roots
The ALMATXAR collection takes its name from Almáchar, a village in the Axarquía region of Málaga. In it, each doll like Julia embodies respect for one’s roots, unconditional love, and the defense of trades that have almost disappeared.
Julia is not just a doll: she is a little piece of memory made of fiber.
