The inside of this Parka is lined with organic cotton and you will find a handmade, non-toxic print of our beloved dog Beldur… He came from the shelter with that name, it means “fear” in Basque. Beldur was a dog with fear, fear of people, fear of other dogs, fear of cars, fear of noises. Fear for Beldur was a tool for self-protection. But, Beldur was not the only one who was afraid, do you know anyone who has never been afraid of anything? Me neither. Everyone has been afraid at some point in their life.
«Mutur Beltz • Wool fabric» contributes to maintaining the grazing of the Karrantza Valley, in Bizkaia; helps save the Carranzana sheep from extinction; protects the landscape and promotes local commerce. It is a very high quality yarn that can last you many years if you take care of it properly. We advise you to wash it as little as possible, if it smells, you can simply air it, since the wool loses odors easily and if it gets stained, we advise dry cleaning or washing with warm water by hand.
